Bank of Nova Scotia has selected Teknekron Software Systems Inc. to supply a trading system for a 175-position dealing room in New York, industry sources say.
Thomas Smith, manager of resources at Bank of Nova Scotia, says the bank is negotiating with a trading systems supplier, but declined to confirm whether a contract has been signed. Sources say Teknekron's digital information system was chosen over hybrid video/digital systems from Rich Inc. and Data Logic Ltd., which has decided to close
