COPENHAGEN—The Sibos 2005 conference in Copenhagen last week kicked off dramatically as Swift Chairman Jaap Kamp and CEO Leonard Schrank questioned Swift members' level of commitment to converting the bank messaging cooperative into a transaction management cooperative by 2010.
Picking up from the challenge that Heidi Miller, treasury and securities executive for JPMorgan Chase, gave in her keynote for Sibos 2004 in Atlanta, Kamp laid out five questions that the Swift members need to answer in
