JERSEY CITY, NEW JERSEY--Institutional broker Prebon Yamane USA is about to go live with a new energy trading floor that will initially house approximately 100 energy brokers using British Telecom's Open Trading System (OTS) platform for real-time market data distribution.
Before OTS, Prebon's New York area brokers had been using the Netfeed digital data distribution system from Datacode since 1990 (Inside Market Data, April 16, 1990). However, in 1996, Prebon decided to make OTS its global
