Barclays NY Rolls Out 3,000 Flat Screens

NEW YORK--Barclays Capital in New York has installed 3,000, 18-inch flat panel LCD monitors from NEC-Mitsubishi as part of the bank’s new trading floor in the MetLife building in Manhattan, NEC and bank officials confirmed last week.
The new MultiSync LCD1880SX monitors went live at Barclays’ 260,000 square-foot MetLife facility in September as part of the massive installation of a 100,000 square-foot trading floor for 300 traders although it has been outfitted for 600 traders in anticipation of
