Reuters' Selectfeed Plus service was interrupted twice in one day in the US last month, leaving some North American subscribers bereft of Reuters' real-time pricing information for about 45 minutes in the middle of the trading day. Originating from Reuters' data centre in Hauppague, New York, the outages were caused by an applications failure of the ABS broadcast feed--and were not the first that Selectfeed Plus customers in the States have suffered this year.
