HSBC Deploys 'Razor'

HSBC has gone live with Razor, a credit risk management software solution from Sydney-based IT&e, according to bank and vendor officials. The solution, which was deployed in HSBC's London office, will assist the management of credit, market and liquidity risk. The deal was signed in January, and the technology implementation took six months, according to IT&e officials. Razor was developed in 2003, and was deployed at the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) this year to manage credit
