SAN FRANCISCO--The Sibos exhibition in San Francisco had five tracks--the e-world, payments, securities and treasury and derivatives and the world of Swift--and several themes: straight through processing, e-commerce, transaction processing and standards.

The show also had a record number of exhibitors--201--including banks, technology developers, industry groups and consultants. And though many booths focused on payments and cash processing, there was trading and related news to be found
