Credit Suisse' Search For New Dealing System Pits Devon Forex Against Inhouse System
DEALING ROOM SYSTEMS
Credit Suisse is looking to install a new system to provide deal entry, position keeping and risk management functions and for its FX and money market dealers in Asia. The bank is currently weighing two likely candidates, an in-house system under development in Zurich and Sungard Capital Markets' Devon Forex system, which it is already using in London.
Credit Suisse's chosen system will be deployed first in Hong Kong and Singapore, where the bank's dealers now rely on a general-ledger system that
