Sumitomo Trust Drives ACT To Unix, Puts New Citydesk In Its New Tokyo Room
DEALING ROOM SYSTEMS
Sumitomo Trust & Banking Co. has gone live with a new version of ACT International's Citydesk digital data distribution platform to support its new dealing room in Aoyama, Tokyo. To suit the trust bank, ACT added Unix- and Windows NT-based server options to its previously DOS- and Windows-only Citydesk system. Sumitomo Trust is using the new server software to deliver data to Windows-based Pentium 90 PCs it has bought from IBM.
