Morgan Stanley Builds New Tower On Campus Computing Model

NEW YORK--Morgan Stanley is constructing a 32-floor, one million sq.-ft. building that will include six trading floors, 2,000 trading positions (with capacity for 2,500 across 238,000 sq. ft.) and 2,500 non-trading positions. The trading floors are scheduled to go live over a five-week period in early 2002.

The building, at 745 Seventh Ave., will house approximately ten business units, including one trading unit. This is a consolidation of businesses from the firm's midtown campus.
