Known as one of the few surviving Apple Computer Inc. Macintosh-based trading systems providers, ADAPTi Inc. is porting its GlobalVision trading package to the UNIX environment. ADAPTi will continue to pitch a Macintosh-based system, but sees persistent demand for UNIX-based trading systems as reason enough to migrate its line of information delivery, analytics and portfolio management software to UNIX.
