One of the more distant casualties of Knight-Ridder Financial's struggle is its distribution agreement with its long-time agent in Brazil, Sao Paolo-based Agencia Estado, which was generating some $1 million in much-needed revenue for the vendor, according to a source. Knight-Ridder Financial's vice president for global sales told D&IS sister publication Inside Market Data that the two had "come to a crossroads." It seems Agencia Estado's path is now leading it towards Dow Jones Telerate.
