State Street, Bridge Unite Behind New Electronic System For Bond Trading

NEW YORK--State Street Bank and Bridge Information Systems have thrown their considerable support behind an electronic bond trading system, Bondconnect, the latest entrant in the still largely untested market for automated bond-trading systems.
The Bondconnect system will be available to institutional and sell side users of State Street's Global Link Network and Bridge's Bridgestation market data workstations. The system is expected to be ready by the fourth quarter, and, at least initially, it
