Sungard Defends Itself Against Bridge 'Raid' Claims

ST. LOUIS--Robert Greifeld, senior vice president of Sungard Data Systems' brokerage and trading unit, defended his company's actions following a judge's granting of a temporary restraining order against Sungard by Bridge Information Systems.
The order prohibits Sungard from soliciting current Bridge employees and from using confidential or proprietary information about the bankrupt Bridge. Judge Thomas McDonald also scheduled a preliminary injunction hearing for Aug. 9.
