Intelcom To Provide STORM/X On HP Hardware At RBC

Royal Bank of Canada has selected Intelcom Data Systems Inc. to provide a deal-capture and position-keeping system for its Toronto-based foreign exchange trading operation. Intelcom is rewriting the software for its DOS-based Strategic Treasury Online Risk Management (STORM) deal- capture and position-keeping system to run UNIX and X windows on Hewlett-Packard Co. workstations at RBC.
Dubbed STORM/X, the system will run on a Teknekron Software Systems Inc. digital data distribution platform
