As Part Of New Global Standards Plan, Salomon Rolls Out IPC Phones In NYC

Harry Fujishiro, Salomon Brothers' director of global networks, is taking the initiative to implement global standards.
Fujishiro is pushing standard ization--and in line with this, Salomon has just begun installing 800 IPC Information Systems turrets in its New York trading floor to match numerous existing IPC installations in other parts of the world.
This, say Salomon executives, will allow the firm to network its trading floors together. Salomon already had IPC turrets in London, Hong Kong
