SEC to Vote on Reg NMS
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will be voting upon the proposed changes to the national market system that have become known as Regulation NMS on Wednesday, April 6, at a meeting in Washington, D.C. SEC officials confirmed late last week that "the commission will consider whether to adopt Regulation NMS and two amendments to the joint industry plans for disseminating market information." In particular, the SEC will consider whether to adopt the Order
