Sungard Sends STN Customers To Valubond
VENDOR STRATEGY
CHICAGO AND ATLANTA--Sungard will route its Sungard Transaction Network (STN) customers to online bond trading system Valubond as part of a play for liquidity in bonds and straight through processing for its users.
The deal, which requires Valubond to pay Sungard for order flow on a per-transaction basis and levies no access fee on Sungard customers, had been in the works for several months, says Lisa Edwards, president of Valubond.
