StanChart Securities Considers 3000, Then Ditches Reuters For Bridge

DEALING ROOM SYSTEMS

After briefly evaluating Reuters' new 3000 series services, Standard Chartered Securities has proceeded instead to deploy Bridge Equity Workstations at its equity brokerage offices worldwide. The 50 or so Bridge terminals will replace Reuter Terminals as the firm's main source of market information at major centres worldwide. The Bridge rollout coincides with the firm's migration to Windows NT and TCP/IP systems worldwide.
