The Chicago-based options trading firm of O'Connor & Associates has begun a pilot trading operation for interest- rate instruments using 12 NeXT Computer Inc. workstations. O'Connor ordered 200 NeXTstations and some more powerful NeXTcube machines in September, and has recently finished taking delivery on them.
