How Secure Is Your Floor? NYNEX, WSTA Plan Back-Up Sites

Hoping to exploit high anxiety on Wall Street, where profits hang by the thread of trading floor technology, NYNEX Computer Services Co. has formed an alliance with New York- based Contingency Trading Facility Inc. (CTF) to provide downtown financial firms with a fully equipped back-up trading floor.

The initial facility, to be opened in fourth quarter 1990, will include 100 trading stations and will be built by CTF in Brooklyn at the Fulton Landing Development site near the Brooklyn Bridge.
