Deutsche Bank Prepares to Outsource IT Infrastructure

FRANKFURT--Deutsche Bank hopes to save as much as €100 million by outsourcing much of its European IT and infrastructure support spend, the bank's COO, Hermann-Josef Lamberti, confirmed last week. Germany's largest bank is in the process of issuing requests for proposals (RFPs) to five leading computing and IT companies and says that its plans could eventually see 1,000 staff jobs transferred to the winning bidder. Most of those jobs are currently based in Germany, Deutsche Bank confirmed.
