FIF Launches Internal Ops Id Survey, Interactive Data Proposes Identifier
NEW YORK - The internal options identifier sub-committee of the Financial Information Forum (FIF), an industry body focused on the market and reference data industry, has launched a survey to get industry feedback on identification code proposals from Cusip, Interactive Data and the Symbol Management Clearing Corporation (SMCC), officials tell Inside Reference Data.
The FIF has previously said the committee would either recommend, in July, one of the proposed identifiers be made the standard
