EDM Council Raises SEC Awareness
WASHINGTON, DC-Industry association the EDM Council presented reference data challenges such as data attribute tagging and legal entity identification to US regulator the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) at a meeting on January 16.
The meeting was aimed at briefing the SEC on industry activities and ensure consistency in work that could overlap with SEC initiatives. Precise identification of legal entities and data attributes are both topics that interest regulators.
