Options IT achieved the reduction in six months by cutting its distance from the venues and increasing its bandwidth, say officials. The provider has invested in high-performance networking technology to put more information through the increased bandwidth, the officials say. Options IT has also shortened the length of the fiber cable it has running from its datacenters to exchange matching engines.
