SIFMA 2010: Via the Grapevine

Over the course of interviews and after-parties at SIFMA 2010, I've noticed some emerging themes and heard a number of rumors—some new and some that have been bandied about our industry for some time.

Here's what I've overheard during SIFMA 2010:

•    Sifma seems to be hurting. The size of the occupied floorspace keeps shrinking and the fact that SunGard and Thomson Reuters again chose to take a pass speaks volumes.
