Smith to Grow Fitch Research
Fitch Solutions has hired Neil Smith in New York as managing director of its Research Services group, which provides credit research, analysis, ratings, analytics and research products. Smith joins from Bank of New York Mellon, where he ran the bank's project finance and structured products business, prior to which he was managing director and senior investment officer at Citigroup Alternative Investments, and also served as a fixed-income analyst at Abbey National. At Fitch, he reports to Fitch
