Direct Edge to Offer Connectivity Hosting
Exchange operator Direct Edge has rolled out a new U.S. equities market center connectivity service that targets mid-sized firms, exchange officials tell SST.
The new service, dubbed Connect Edge, leverages Direct Edge's existing intermarket connections to the other major exchanges including NYSE Euronext, Nasdaq OMX and the Bats exchanges.
"This service is not one where you have to pass through one of the exchanges to be routed," explains Kevin Carrai, head of connectivity services at Direct
