B2N Readies CEP-Contributions Tool

UK-based data technology vendor B2N will release a high-performance, spreadsheet-based tool, dubbed Enterprise Excel Publisher, at the end of this month, which will provide a complex event processing and contributions engine for desk traders rather than algorithmic trading systems.

Vasko Tomanov, chief executive of B2N, says the tool is aimed at firms outside the very top tier of banks, with trading desks that want some CEP capabilities to support screen-based trading but don’t want the servers
