Savvis Plans Datacenter Growth
Datacenter and hosting provider Savvis is planning further international expansion for 2012, including setting up new datacenters in Frankfurt and Hong Kong to support the vendor’s Symphony cloud virtual datacenter offering, and using the telecom links of parent CenturyLink to join cloud installations in different locations with network connections.
The vendor aims to have two locations offering cloud services in each geographic region—so a location in Frankfurt would complement its datacenter
