Omgeo Adding LEIs To Alert

In late April, post-trade processing solutions provider Omgeo plans to launch added capability to accommodate legal entity identifiers (LEI) within its Omgeo Alert settlement and account instruction database service, according to Bill Meenaghan, global product manager for the Alert service.
Investment managers using Alert will be able to add fund-level LEIs and notify their brokers about LEI data through the service, adds Meenaghan. Alert will use access codes and mapping to handle LEI data, he
