WSE Taps SunGard's Surveillance Technology for Trading Platform Upgrade
Adam Maciejewski, a member of the management board at WSE, says the technology will be "an essential tool" for monitoring trade as the exchange integrates NYSE Technologies' Universal Trading Platform (UTP) later this year.
"Implementation of the Protegent software is simply a ramification of the change of trading system," says Maciejewski. "Very soon, we'll launch the UTP, delivered by NYSE Technologies, which enables new trading techniques and will hopefully result in much higher volumes. But
