This year, LCH.Clearnet’s SwapClear Margin Approximation Risk Tool (Smart), a sophisticated margin-monitoring and calculation application folded into its SwapClear flagship risk management platform, unveiled back in 1999, is adjudged to be the most innovative offering in this category, fending off strong entries from Providence Equity Partners’ NxR2 and ConvergEx’s ConnEx tools.
