CUSIP Adds Coverage of Crowdfunding Offerings
CUSIP Global Services has partnered with WealthForge, a broker-dealer that specializes in online capital formation, to assign its CUSIP identifiers to crowdfunding offerings.
The CUSIPs take the same form as those used for other types of securities and can be applied for via a new website (crowdcusip.com) or through WealthForge's CapitalForge platform. CUSIP Global Services also plans to add a crowdfunding template to its own website.
The procedure for assigning a CUSIP for a crowdfunding
