Alacra Adds GIINs to Entity File
Regulatory reporting codes can now be linked to other unique identifiers
Client onboarding, reference data and business research provider Alacra has added the Global Intermediary Identifier Number (GIIN) to the repertoire of unique entity identifiers in its database.
GIIN codes, created specifically for reporting to the US tax authority under the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act, are immediately available to Alacra clients on the company's Authority File Plus (AAF+). AAF+ tracks all rated, regulated and listed entities across the world—some 200,000 institutions.
