Omgeo Service Signs First Global Custodian

Brown Brothers Harriman selects Alert GC Direct

Omgeo, a subsidiary of the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation, has announced that Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) is live on the new Omgeo Alert GC Direct service.

BBH is the first global custodian to sign up to the new service, which automates the provision of Standard Settlement Instructions (SSI) data from the custodian to clients and investment managers. BBH can now connect its SSI repository electronically to clients who are using Alert, Omgeo's SSI database, via ISO 20022 messaging.
