DataGenic Relaunches Commodities Data and Analytics Platform

Rearchitecting the platform will allow Datagenic to be more responsive about adding capabilities to meet client demand.

The vendor initially launched the data and analytics  platform last year to provide access to energy and commodities market data and news, charts and analytics, unstructured data, including text derived from blogs, Twitter feeds, communications with brokers, and internal communications, at a lower price point than traditional vendors.

The platform was originally built in the JavaScript programming language, but the vendor has now rewritten the application using AngularJS, an open-source web
