Startup Xinfinit Unveils Data-Agnostic ‘Container’ for Custom Desktop Apps
The platform will allow users to create custom displays using third-party or proprietary tools and content.
The platform provides a data-agnostic development environment that allows developers to create custom applications by connecting to any supported vendor data source—or firms’ own datasets, via a contributor API—and using tools supplied “out of the box” by Xinfinit or from vendor partners, all displayed via an HTML5 user interface.
Xinfinit has integrated datafeeds from SIX Financial Information, FactSet Research Systems and Morningstar, and offers access to charting software from ChartIQ
