Waters Rankings 2017: Best Cybersecurity Provider—Eze Castle Integration
ECI has a full suite of offerings to help clients bolster their cyber defenses.
According to consultancy PwC’s annual research report on information security—Global State of Information Security Survey 2017—43 percent of respondents suffered phishing attacks in 2016, with phishing being the No.1 vector of cybersecurity concern for the respondents. As a result, spending on security has spiked 67 percent since 2013, with an 11 percent growth in 2016 over 2015. Furthermore, this is all happening as more and more firms are turning to cloud services, with PwC finding that 47 percent of all IT services are delivered via cloud service providers.
In this environment, ECI offers a suite of services for capital markets firms, especially on the buy side. First off, there’s Eze Active Threat Protection (ATP), which was built in collaboration with security specialist eSentire and combines intrusion detection capabilities with 24/7 monitoring by security analysts through its Security Operations Center. It also comes with active alert management and incident resolution, forensic analysis of suspicious activity and global IP blacklists updated in near real time, according to the vendor.
And rather than just being a straight-up software provider, ECI works with clients in a variety of ways to help them to better manage their own internal procedures. For example, the firm’s Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing Services provide a vulnerability assessment, penetration testing and a report of key findings along with recommendations for improvements. Its Written Information Security Plan Service covers the creation, implementation, maintenance and auditing of information security policies and plans. And finally, there’s the Eze Phishing & Training Service, a fully-managed cybersecurity training solution provided by Eze Castle Integration.
ECI has also established itself as a leading cloud provider, thanks to its Eze Private Cloud, which includes its Eze Managed Suite, Eze Manage Infrastructure and Eze DR services. Meanwhile, the Eze Hybrid Cloud, delivered in partnership with Microsoft Azure, provides both business workflow capabilities along with specific capabilities for financial services firms to adhere to various regulatory requirements.
Eze Castle Integration has positioned itself well by partnering with other leading vendors to deliver solutions to the buy side, such as with Thomson Reuters, Eze Software Group, Convergex, S&P Capital, Dell and Microsoft.
