Exchange data is an underappreciated component of the AI era, writes Jeff Kimsey.
Walk into any building and you might notice that you don’t think about the foundation at all. You take the elevator, you find your floor, you get on with your day. Nobody stops in the lobby to wonder whether the building will stay up. That’s the whole point of a foundation; it does its job, and everyone above it gets to focus on what’s important to them.
In much the same way, the financial system rests on market data, mostly unnoticed, until someone starts asking what’s underneath it.
