Rule Financial, DSTi support Mifid compliance

LONDON – The move towards compliance with the European Union’s Mifid (Markets in Financial Instruments Directive) guidelines set to become effective as of November 2007 is steadily gaining momentum on the buy side. This, according to Peter Jepson, head of product development at Asset Based Consulting, a division of London-based financial services consultancy Rule Financial, stems from the understanding that best execution is likely to become a cornerstone of Mifid regulations come Q4 next year.
