SunGard In Talks To Acquire ISA And Its Prism System


SunGard Data Systems Inc., a Pennsylvania-based developer of investment management application software, has approached US Sprint about purchasing the phone company's Atlanta-based Information Systems of America Inc. (ISA) subsidiary. ISA has developed and marketed IBM mainframe-based systems for investment management and accounting since 1970, and brings to the table its most current system, known as Prism.
