Portfolio Vendor Update: Princeton To Float In '97?


PORTFOLIO management and accounting system vendor Princeton Financial Systems is considering going public sometime next year. The goal of the IPO would be to provide Princeton with working capital for acquisitions and further overseas expansion--two strategies for which the vendor has already shown an affinity this year.

News that Princeton is contemplating an IPO comes during a period of heavy realignment in the portfolio management and accounting system marketplace--a rate which to some degree
