Outsourcing is Future of STP says New State Street Hire


LONDON--Nigel Thomas, State Street’s new European STP project manager in London, believes that with the pressure of T+1, asset managers face a stark choice of whether to develop their own systems or outsource their straight through processing needs.

"Asset managers have to decide--their current systems can’t cope," says Thomas. "These changes are the biggest overhaul of the securities industry in a long time."
