Freedom Selects NT-Based Systems From Data Exchange

BOSTON-based John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Co.'s Freedom Capital Management Corp.--with $3.7 billion under management--has selected Data Exchange Inc.'s WinDX portfolio management system and WinDX Trader trading system, running on Microsoft Corp. Windows NT-based servers. Freedom, which was assisted in its evaluations by the Boston-based MacGregor Group Inc., plans to complete deployment of the two systems by the first quarter of 1995 to support some five traders, 10 portfolio managers
