Barclays Global Investors Completes its Own Order Management System

SAN FRANCISCO--Barclays Global Investors (BGI) has gone live with the second half of its new investment platform. Orbis, a trade order management system, will operate in tandem with Global Share/Common Platform, the firm’s data platform. BGI is also using Javelin Technologies’ Appia FIX engine to connect to its sell-side counterparties.
