FIX Will Go On, With Changes, Despite Swift Convergence


NEW YORK--FIX Protocol Ltd. (FPL) and Swift have announced a partnership to create a front- and back-office communication protocol. This agreement does not signal the end of FIX, but it will likely mean changes to it and other protocols.
