Seeking Accounting Strength, MEAG Quits Portia For Camra

Atlanta-based Municipal Electric Authority of Georgia Power (MEAG) is nearing the completion of its rollout of Securities Software & Consulting Inc.'s Complete Asset Management, Reporting and Accounting system, a.k.a Camra. MEAG opted to install Camra this past August following an unsuccessful attempt to deploy Thomson Investment Software's Portia system. The agency also evaluated Princeton Financial Systems Inc.'s Pam for Securities and Houston-based TPG Software Inc.'s The Portfolio Genius.
