What changes did technology bring to the investment management business in 2000? Were there any major developments?

1. Trade order management. Closer to "industrial STP" with an improved installed architecture for large volume, electronic order routing/broker confirm/ custodian and accounting delivery. Rising awareness of workflow management (middleware packages, message industry standards, etc.)

2. Portfolio management. Ability to better manage "Fund of Funds" activities and increased support
