ICI Launches Technology Panel, Seeks Industry-Wide Influence

WASHINGTON--The Investment Company Institute has formed a committee of executives from at least a dozen mutual fund companies to grapple with a host of complex technology issues. While the body still lacks the status of a formal standing committee, it was formed at the behest of the trade association's board of governors and is considered one of the group's more important initiatives.
